SPRING/SUMMER 2012 SPLASH FASHION SHOW

Cool boarding pass invites

Finally I got my invites to the show. I am packed and ready to go to Splash Fashion Paradise. I'm so excited to see the Spring/Summer 2012 collection of Splash tomorrow night.

I heard a lot of cool stuff that's going to happen on the event. It will be a fashion carnival replete with gloss, glitz and glamour. Revolving around the Tropical theme, the Splash Fashion Paradise will be featuring different activities including music and entertainment, F&B, fashion kiosks, funky photo-booths, innovative games and a lot more.

All guests are encouraged to be in their Tropical Best. Summer is here. :)

AMATO by FURNE ONE

DAY 5
April 7, 2010

Last day of Fashion week for me is very exciting. Again seating in the front row is great opportunity and I get to see Furne's collection just right in front of me. Geez. I got so excited before the show. Seated beside me is blogger Mariyah.

AMATO by FURNE ONE

The collection was inspired by cosmic mysticism and other wordly beings but by the rich virtuals of the Knights of Camelot, Avalon, Merlin, Genevieve. Icy palettes was used and lavish detailing to give it a wash by moonlight coldness. To reflect the chivalry of the era, metal mesh was used to stimulate the chain mail used in the past times and crystallized nets in place of the light weight armour. As an allusion to the wintery season, touches of fur were added to the collection.

Amato's collection is indeed a statement of true HAUTE COUTURE in this season's DUBAI FASHION WEEK 2010.The lavish details, the eye catcher headpiece, the runway drama..indeed a very good presentation in the catwalk. The whole collection for me is so perfect. I was truly enchanted by the craftsmanship of Furne.

THE FINALE PIECE

Another piece that almost made me stand in astonishment is the finale. She looks like an Ice Queen. I can't get over with the caging detail of this piece.. Everything in this dress is so intricate.
